Your Senses Five

You say you know, but tell me what,
have you got, have you sought?

You say you see, but please tell me,
can you see, what the Gods decree?

You say you hear, but tell me dear,
were you far or were you near?

You say you feel, but do you deal
with what is real and what is reel?

You say you smell, but can you tell,
what stories Nature has to tell?

You say you are, but not think I,
for bound you are, and so am I.
